They say that there is "two sides to every story" so I am sure that Saward may not have been always at fault, but given the drama during the Colin Baker era, it is surprising that they were still able to keep the show running for another 3 years. Though that did involve a new Doctor, and by series 26, an new script editor and writing staff.

Here's on odd clip I recently discovered. Possibly dated 1994/5, it's Sylvester as 7, on the Disney Club.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVkukbbPx2E

I think the longer hair suits Sylvester more than the shorter hair he had during 1987-89. The longer hair adds to his naturally eccentric nature. Also there is a mention of the swimming pool.

That's right. Who knows, maybe they are the same character. The 7th Doctor was manipulative, he might have plucked him out of that life, and dropped him off in Bel Air.

me too Petra. They make it really hard to watch Classic Who in the US. You have to pay for a service called BritBox and I don't want to pay.

Aren't the DVD's availabl ein the US? I mean, you get them after us, but still...

When it comes to the Seventh Doctor, i'd suggest starting at the beginning. That way you get to see the Docto evolve. The early stories, series 24, aren't the greatest, but the writing improved in series 25, and moreso in series 26.

Oh, ok. I see the benefits of streaming. I'm just the opposite, I prefer physical.
