yes that's true! If Rose can come back from another dimension that Amy and Rory could come back.

But Amy & Rory are dead in present day, they have graves in New York. The only way we can see them is if we go the past which we can't because if we follow them back in the 1930's, then New York would be destroyed. Rose is alive so we can always have her back.

Rose would have been long dead in then 50th anniversary episode right? Plus she was stranded in another dimension

Yes she was. Although I know it's still possible for Amy & Rory to be back since this is a time-travelling show but they would have to be believable for me after that Weeping Angels drama in "The Angels Take Manhattan".

I was really upset with how they left the show and I hate that they were only in 5 episodes of S7 before Jenna took over. I'm always used to companions leaving until the very end of the season.

yes mid season exits are the worst!! it doesn't give you the necessary time to wrap your head around the idea of new companion because they show up in the very next ep

It's just this weird feeling. That's probably why 11/Clara didn't work for me. And then Matt leaving at the end of S7 was kind of like an "Oh well." moment for me since both Amy & Rory were gone anyway.

I don't know why both Karen & Arthur can't finish S7? 5 eps isn't even half of the entire season.

I'm thinking Karen probably said yes to GotG that time (or got casted already) so she left mid-way.
