It took me awhile to get over their departure. It was easier after Ten left as well.

i have to admit the cross over between ten departure and 11 start with the new companions was the easiest transition, it should of been a harder thing to accept but i liked 11 straight away

I felt the same way. As much as I loved Ten is wasn't so hard when he left because I instantly liked Eleven and Amy and wanted more of them.

I am glad that they picked such great actors for the new Doctor and companions because Ten and Donna/Martha was hard to compete with.

I agree. It seems like we get left hanging a lot once the companions disappear. They all usually have family that they leave behind.
