The end of S6 was much better than the beginning of it I don't understand why Steven Moffat, the same person who wrote really gripping stuff such as 'A Good Man Goes To War', continued to dwell on the immature side of Amy. Like you said, she was married at that point. Even her wedding day was overshadowed by the Doctor's appearance Focusing on a creepy Doctor/Amy crush was the wrong thing to do, and is a huge reason why many viewers took ages to warm up to Amy.


"Amy's Choice" should be considered the final ending point of her Doctor crush. She chooses a life with Rory knowing it could end everything else. That's love.


'The Girl Who Waited' will always be the superior S6 episode.

All of this. I really hated this. They were already married and yet they were still on about Rory and his insecurities. Don't even get me started on the whole break-up thing in S7.

And yes, Amy's Choice was the nail in the coffin. That ep proved to me that Amy loves Rory just as much as he loves her.

^ Love the 2nd gif, that whole story arc seemed like sexual roleplay in an alternate universe

And the 7th gif, I always loved that Amy + Rory spoke to the Doctor as if they were his adoptive family


THANK YOU! Why on earth was that drama at the start of S7 necessary? The random story line of Amy suddenly being infertile due to what happened with their first child, it was just an excuse to add more drama in - as if there wasn't already enough!


That moment where Rory's about to let her in , and she begs him not to... Her actions and words are so selfless in that moment, it really made me a fan of Amy

Yeah the break-up was poorly handled. It's obviously just added drama for Amy & Rory. I can't even remember if they gave us a reason for the break-up? At least they were back together by the end of that ep but still. I don't see Amy & Rory breaking up while married. Very OOC as I see them both working through their marriage problems but not breaking up.

And Rory getting angry at the Doctor too was an unforgettable moment for me: "THEN I DO NOT WANT TO TRAVEL WITH YOU!"

they broke up , well the underlining was Amy couldnt give Rory kids which is what he always wanted so she decided to let him go
