 Amy and Rory's relationship was my favorite aspect of any Doctor Who Series. I love how we finally had two companions who were in love with each other and had their own lives outside of the supernatural craziness but they always made the time to go on adventures with him  I was in buckets of tears when Rory literally disappeared right in front of Amy in Angels Take Manhattan, then the score 'Goodbye, Pond' kicks in  I will always be grateful that Amy's ultimate choice was to be with Rory. She had spent so long hero-worshiping the Doctor that I was extremely grateful to see this huge maturity in Amy when she chose Rory on the rooftop and in the graveyard.I hate that they died, or shifted in time, but if they had to go, then I'm happy it was together.  __________________

Welcome to the thread 4brathan&brucas
 I added you I love Rory and Amy as well. They are my OTP on the show. I love that Amy chose Rory as well and let her infatuation with the Doctor go. I was sad to see them go as well but at least they got to finish out their lives together and happy. |

I agree with what you said, Amy & Rory is probably (to date) my only OTP on New Who. Granted, I was irritated at Amy at first because of her crush with the Doctor and how she's handling it but I'm glad they didn't let it linger on and by the time we got Amy's Choice, it was very clear who Amy loves. Her admiration for the Doctor was more of a crush, and like you said, a hero worship kind. Her love for Rory is deeper and rooted on their friendship and history. __________________

Amy and Rory has such an epic love story
 It started off Rocky because of Amy's infatuation with the Doctor but once she knew who she wanted to be with it was absolutely amazing |

I wonder if they found young River in 1970 and got to raise their daughter again for a while? They would've been in their 60's or so by then.
