They never showed up again after Amy and Rory's wedding.

I feel bad for her parents then. I can't imagine having my child just suddenly disappear and we have no idea where they are and they are never found again. I hope the Doctor told them off screen.

One of the legitimate flaws of Moffat's era, they never really bothered to develop the families of the companions.

Yeah they brought them in for the wedding but never followed through until Brian in S7 but then that was like literally the penultimate ep before Amy & Rory's departure so it was too late.

I did like meeting and getting to know more about the companions families. It would be nice to get the opportunity to do so again.

I think you're right Lindsay!

I agree Petra. But maybe their parents don't realize they are gone because the Doctor always returns them one second after they left so no one notices the absence?
