I really like Combat, but I've never seen Fight Club, I think he was the only writer to actually 'get' Jack's character.
And this sounds a lot different to Torchwood, a lot more gritty and realistic.

added you

I loved that too! That was a really adorable touch even though I didn't think the kid looked much like Noel at all... Oh well.

Before I saw fathers day I hadn't realised Mickey was meant to be a few years older that Rose, yeah, I'm an idiot.

I didn't think they looked too alike either.

I hadn't really realized that either, before that I always assumed they were about the same age.

Yeah, I assumed so, too. He looks about the same age I can't believe Noel Clarke is 31

I know, I can't believe that either! I always thought of him as not being that much older than I am (I'm 22), I had thought he definitely wouldn't be older than 27 I also can't believe David is 36 actors and their magical abilities to stay young forever...

I know. I thought David Tennant was about Billie Piper's age, but there's actually eleven years between them

Actors always do look younger than their actual age. I can't believe Jennifer Aniston's only three years younger than my mum!

I would've thought that too

and John Barrowman! 40! maybe he is right, maybe the TARDIS really does make them all stay young

I always thought JB looked his near his age, still very goodlooking, but I wasn't as shocked to find out his age as DT or Noel Clarke.

John sort of has an ageless face- he could have easily been 25 or 40, for me, anyway.

I wouldn't have thought he was 25, but probably somewhere around 33

Noel did capture Jack “voice” quite well. I do agree there. His character interacting with John’s might have given him special insight into that. I’d love to see him come back, and give another stab at writing for Torchwood.

I am shocked at both David and John’s ages. Just goes to show me that I need to look up this stuff.

I just watched the pilot of the new BBC3 series West 10 LDN, which Noel wrote and also stars in. I thought it was pretty good, even though it's not really my kind of show. But I'd definitely watch it if it gets picked up! Has anyone else seen it?

I haven't seen it but I might look it up for Noel. I miss seeing him on television.
