Ooh, lovely banner!

Is Kidulthood good? I've been planning to see it for a while now, but haven't got round to it.

I'll go add you in a second, Stacey01.

Awww...Val, it's so lovely. *hugs banner* You make the best stuff. *snuggles Mickey banner more*

I know absolutely nothing about 'Kidulthood'. What's it about, besides gangs?

Val, the banner is gorgeous. I think my favourite scene with Mickey was when he decided to stay on the parallel world. It's not what he knew very well, but he recognized that he was needed more there.

He’s a reluctant hero, one that became rather than simply was. The origin of heroics is sometimes the most interesting kind of hero because they have to go through so many trials before reaching their full potential.

thanks guys, glad you like it

Kidulthood is a pretty interesting movie not anything really fantastic I reckon, but it's definitely interesting to watch. IMDB described it as 'A day in the life of a group of troubled 15-year-olds growing up in west London.' and that does seem accurate If anyone has seen the movie 'Kids', it sort of reminded me of a British version of that. I thought it was a bit over the top at first, but then I heard that it's actually a very accurate portrayal of certain neighbourhoods in London (and I'm sure most big cities). I've never been exposed to anything like that so it was quite an eye opener.

Hmmm...well I liked Kids so maybe I'll try to find it. Also, it's Noel so thats an extra incentive.

Yeah, some areas of London are pretty hard-going. I'd never want to live there.

What a talented man Noel Clarke is, I was looking at the BBC Press Office site and saw that he has a new drama that he's writing and starring in.

West 10 LDN Press Release

I can't wait to see that.

I'll certainly watch it, I just am worried about it. I hate the episode of Torchwood he wrote. It wasn't that it was poorly written or anything just that it borrowed so heavily from other things, like Fight Club that is seemed kind of pointless to me.

Yeah, that wasn't really my favourite episode either. I could've enjoyed it a lot if it hadn't been such a blatant copy of Fight Club.
