Sorry to bump the thread, but I just recently "took the plunge" into the series with Eccleston's Doctor, and really like him thus far (I'm only 5 episodes in).

I've made it through The Long Game, and have to say that I think Eccleston took his already stellar portrayal of the Doctor to a new level in Dalek, first when the character's PTSD got triggered and when it looked as if Rose had been killed by the Dalek.

Yes those were both some very powerful scenes. The Doctor has such a long and tumultuous history with the Daleks and it really comes out in these types of scenarios

I think he is a show currently and that is what he is talking about at the beginning of the video.
I am not familiar with most UK programming so I am not sure what show he is talking about. |
