How you rate the masters.
Here is how I rate the masters for the series. How would you rate them?

I have to rate Anthony Ainley in the number 1 top position mainly b/c he was the Master during my childhood and the one I liked to see come back throughout the 80s. Now I must add Derek Jacobi to the list in the 2nd spot because his perfromance in Utopia just blew everything else away that season. I am also getting used to Michelle Gomez but still wish another man could have been cast in what has always been a man's part.

I've not seen enough of the classic series to judge the old Masters, but I think Michelle Gomez's Master is excellent and actually one of my favourite DW characters of all time (that I have seen), which is suprising to me because John Simm really made me dislike the Master and hope he'd never return. Actually, if she wasn't playing the Master, she might have made a pretty good Doctor too. Derek Jacobi was alright, but we didn't really get to see that much of him to really judge.

See , y only issue with having the master back was it has already been done in th3 new series why not get another bady that disliked the doctor saying that i do enjoy her portrayal of him

Derek Jacobi will always be a worthy Master no matter how much screentime he may have had in the part.
