I can believe that, and it makes me so sad. It's an episode celebrating 50 years of the show - how could that be about anything other than the past? oh well...

It's disappointing and sad because not everybody knows about him and Torchwood. This would've been the perfect opportunity to introduce new viewers to him and that show.

Good point I think it's also hard to introduce jack tot his new doctor cause he was the David campaion but I would of loved him to come

But because David Tennant is going to be in the special it is entirely possible for Harkness to be written in.

About 6 months ago John Barrowman offically confirmed that he was going to be in the special. A few weeks later it was said that he wasnt going to be included. This could mean that he is included the BBC just didnt want to release it yet and so made him state that he wasnt going to be in it. I personally think that there is still a chance John will be in the special but I dont think we will find out untill we watch it.

He would be in more than one clip (unless someone just did a long clip of everything he does)! It looks like a few of the other episodes have been put on YT, so there is hope!
