I just spent the weekend at DragonCon mostly lurking around James Marsters Q&A's and I also attended the "Torchwood" forum they held. So, keeping in mind that I don't want to give out any spoilers here, I will tell you the tale of James Marsters meeting with John Barrowman but will omit the parts where he gets too specific:

James Marsters (Saturday Q&A DragonCon): I was a little nervous, I had to actually I had to face my own latent homophobia. And I had to admit that I've tried my whole life not to be that way but if I admit that I'm an American, I've been raised in this culture and there really is bigotry down inside me because I'm constantly having to dig up and deal with so um. Sitting there on the first day of the set I'm looking at John ...and he starts grabbing the fellow castmates like the girls and stuff... and they're like 'stop it I don't want to play today' and he keeps doing it... if he grabs me,I'm not gonna think about it, I'm just gonna whale on him. And then he's gonna go to the doctor, and I'm gonna get fired and it's gonna be horrible so I decided that I needed to communicate that I was not into this. So I leaned over to the actor that was getting all groped and her name was Naoko and I was 'Naoko man, like just a little elbow in the back, that'll stop him in his tracks, or just stomp with your heel on the top of his foot and it'll break two or three bones and it'll stop' And he's behind me. And the whole cast, this is my first day on the set and they were like- cause they're all used to each other, it was no thing for them you know. And John was kinda like you know ohh, okay he's not comfortable with it. And so the next day in the bar... he was a whole different guy. And he was just all about being a good scene partner and keeping each other safe and make sure that we got through ... without any event and uh... later on in the shoot I got an injury and I was bleeding pretty bad and I didn't want the producer to know that I was hurt because I felt like it was my fault that I got hurt and he got my back, he stopped the bleeding and he knows all these tricks because he's from theater, and he got me back on my feet and he helped me save my pride too. And I'll never be able to repay him, I really love that man, I think he's a really good guy.

The fourth picture is stunning...but I just love the ones where he is cracking up. I love the sound of his laugh (on a couple of You Tube clips I've seen. ) Makes you think he's the kind of guy who walks into a room and lights it up.

That's what I love the most about him. He's a fanboy, and has a great sense of humour.
I also love how he's open and doesn't censor himself.

I love John he's so funny, he was on Never Mind the Buzzcocks and was just brilliant. Him and the host kept warmly bumping heads. And I think the host was a bit jealous that John is so good looking, while still being so youthful. He would keep asking if he had any work done.

They played a game and John's team cheated. The host was calling them out on it.
John: Talk to the hand because the wrist is pissed.
Host: You have out gay me Barrowman.
John: Lets have a gay off, ready lips pursed, hands on the table and go.
Host: I haven't even told my mom yet.

It was one of the funniest shows I have ever seen.

Never Mind the Buzzcocks is one of my favourite shows

I'm also slightly in love with Simon Amstell

but that episode with John was SO GOOD!

I don't even know how many times I've watched it, but it never gets old

I worship the ground Simon walks on.

He's hilarious. And, he also wrote my favourite Skins episode.

That is the most hilarious moment in all NMTB episodes I saw so far!!

And there were so many more funny moments, from vagina bit, to adjusting his facelift, to the naughty Sounds of Music ending.

Do they ever repeat guests because I'd love to see John on the show again!
