Huh, I absolutely loved Eleven's regeneration. I think Matt's final speech is utterly beautiful and so heartbreaking. I cried lots when he said 'I'll always remember when the Doctor was me.'
I much preferred it to Ten's regeneration. Lovely regen but the words 'I don't want to go' really annoy me. __________________

Gotta agree. The final line was good, it was the rest of the episode I didn't like very much.

I also agree. It seemed to me that they put all of their effort into the 50th and completely overlooked the Christmas regeneration. As far as episodes go, it wasn't really a stand out.

I've rewatched the 50th quite a few times. I haven't rewatched Christmas at all yet
 It'll probably be one of those episodes that I only rewatch if I'm rewatching the whole series. |

It's a shame that it is like that. I usually love the Christmas episodes (although eleven's in general haven't impressed me all that much).

Yeah, despite buying the DVD, The Time of the Doctor isn't a story I'm likely to re-watch anytime soon. Perhaps if I did a full season re-watch, I might, but on it's own, no.
In regards to his other Christmas specials, the Christmas Carol one is my favorite. Really enjoyed that one, the others, not so much. |

^ I agree the other smith era episodes where amazing season 7 had some highs but a lot of lows writing wise and it's a disappointment cause smith final era was fantastic

Season five is my favorite of the three Matt Smith seasons, but there were some good episodes in season seven too. Time of the Doctor was one of the ones I liked least though, which is a shame, especially considering it was Matt's last one.
