I just love that she can be this hilarious character, but she can say she wants to walk in the dust, that what's makes the character compelling to me, Catherine Tate plays Donna extremely well.

Also, as loud as she is, there were moments in that Christmas special when you could see much more of her. Like when they went back to see the Earth starting, that was a great scene.

Exactly and I'm sure they'll expand her character even more when she comes back. The more I think about it, the more excited I get about seeing her again! I'm sure she'll be just great

I also loved how she saw right through Ten and told him he should find someone to travel with, because he shouldn't be alone and sometimes he needs someone to stop him.
I felt so bad for her.
She had all this hopes and dreams for this loser only to realize he was drugging her all the time and planning to give her to a big bug lady. Oi.

Although I did laugh at his line on how the height of excitement for Donna was a new flavour of pringle

And yeah, her comment on Ten scaring the hell out of her with his attitude to the spiders burning was very insightful

I wasn't too sure when i first heard the news she was the new companion but now i am loving the idea. She will bring something fresh and different from Billie and Freema. Her character will get some great lines no doubt.
Heard at one point she even goes back into the tardis to change cause she refuses to go to an alien planet looking like she does!

I did too.
But being how I did a little squee and then started running to the shelve full of Pringles, almost in slow motion (which btw freaked my sister out big time ), the last time I saw them in the supermarket - maybe I'm not one to talk.
In my defence Pringles are our obligatory 'going to the movies' food, and you can't find them everywhere to buy, so you have to stock up when you do find them.

I must admit I love how every companion is completely different in a way. It just makes it easier for me to love them all, and it's much more interesting for the show.

I think RTD said that in one of the interviews, I remember cracking up when I read it.
