When I first saw this title, I thought for sure this would deal with River. But eh, hopefully it will be good

I do not like Danny Pink and his arrogance, he is hardly a sympathetic character for someone with PSTS and I hate his preachy attitude. But I guess he will be in it as this episode is set on modern Earth.
Clara has had some good outings with the Doctor this season, hope this will be one of them. |

Lots to like this week and I think the kids saved it, not a fan of Danny negativity when it comes to the Doctor but it's a understandable when he just found out Clara was lying and was still traveling with the Doctor.
Only problem I had this week was I worked out what was going to happen long before the Doctor. Once they worked out the danger was a solar flare and the trees couldn't be burnt down. And why they hell would the government think it was a good idea to set fire to a forest in the middle of London, if it had worked it could have burnt the city down. Also it's the middle of London, where were all the people? Okay and Danny 'taming' the Tiger, not very realistic IMO. On the up side Clara looked extra cute this week and it was fun to see the Doctor with the kids in the TARDIS. I don't say it much be it really felt like a filler ep which is not good with just 12 in the season. Apart from Danny finding out about Clara and the bit at the end with the mystery lady (sorry forgot her name) nothing really happened to move the season long story further along. Next week looks bigger just with the 2 parts were shown together in a 90 min movie length special! Off to watch the Extra special... __________________

I hope you get to see it soon.
I guess I'm the only one here that doesn't hate Danny? Probably my least favourite episode of the series, but I still enjoyed it. But, it was a bit meh for me compared to the two previous episodes. Yeah, I also thought about the idea to burn parts of the forest wasn't the best idea they could have come with. __________________

Craig, it was the same for me, the second the solar flare and the non-burning trees had been revealled it was blatantly obvious that the trees would save them.
An enjoyable episode, though. I liked the kids, even felt more positive towards Danny, still unsure what I fully think of him, neither love nor hate him at this point. And Clara was good this week as well But next week, oh man, that looks great, I'm really psyched about the final two episodes. You just know there are going to be some proper WTF moments |
