I was expecting heartbreak but this is probably my favorite S8 episode. I just loved everything about it. I would have loved to see how and why Clara agreed to travel one last time with the Doctor but otherwise it was great. I'm choosing to forget about 8x07, at least the argument because while some of the things that Clara told the Doctor needed to be told the whole argument was weird. It was used to create drama and make people think that Clara is leaving which is just stupid.

This was by far my favorite episode this season. It just had the old feel of the Doctor, both the classic and modern feel. Loved the creepy story arc, loved the mystery behind it, and seeing Peter in this version - this is how I first pictured him. I hope this is the start of this series moving forward again instead of being jumbled around

I think this season will be about fixing the kinks. By 9 we should be okay.

So is the general consensus that this was the best episode? I think it was, followed by the Dalek episode...

Can't wait to see it, then! I have been following the season at a haphazard pace and am a bit behind as of right now. But I am slowly playing catch up.

Yeah, finally saw Mummy on the Orient Express, it rocked! I rate it highly as Capaldi's best to-date performance as the Doctor. Hoping what's left of the season/series is also as good.

It felt like one of those old stories you migt have seen Tom Baker and Elisabeth Sladen do. Abd Clara looked good in it too!

The Mummy episode is where I started to like Clara again after a few episodes with Danny Pink kind of ruining it for me. I have been interested in her story since Series 7B though. I also like her in Flatline.
