Very enjoyable episode. First 10-15 minutes was pretty poor. After The Doctor turned up, it got so much better (Although I do like Doctor lite episodes- especially Blink obviously). Strax is absolutely brilliant though. Fantastic.

I watched this ep on my iPad on a long flight, so it was not an ideal environment and maybe I wasn't in the best frame of mind. But I found the ep a bit boring and conventional. I have all kinds of love for Mark Gatiss, but I haven't been particularly impressed with his New Who episodes. Of the lot, I thought The Idiot's Lantern was the best.
