Doctor Who Official BBC Site Advent Calendar '07 - Let the Countdown Begin!
 It has started! Just like last year, the official Doctor Who website is having an Advent Calendar, where you can go every day from now on until the 25th of December to unlock goodies, such as videos, wallpapers, exclusive pictures, soundbits, interviews, games, bits of the scripts, and so on! It was a LOT of fun last year and I'm sure it will be again this year, so I thought it would be nice to have a thread here where we can come to discuss whatever we've found behind those little doors!  or, from the official news section: Quote:

Yeah the video was very adorable
I am SO excited this has started again!  hah I'm right there with you. How could anyone not?  I do have to say though - I much preferred last year's Christmas-y music to this year's boat noises  I have a feeling I'm going to use that 'sound off' feature a lot  __________________

So TPTB write fanfiction? heh, well that's what it seems like to me. I haven't read it yet, I'm attempting to study but failing miserably, so I'll read it soon. The illustrations are cute though.  __________________

can't say I'm too fussed with today's update. It's like reading fanfic, only not the kind I'd usually read
I've skimmed through it, maybe I'll read the whole thing later. It says to be continued... Hope that doesn't mean we get a new part every few days, since that would mean less other potentially better goodies me? Greedy? Never.__________________

Yeah, to be honest I'd prefer it to be more related to VoTD.
But I suppose the kiddies will like it, whcih sometimes frustratingly we have to remember is TPTB's target audience. __________________

I don't think the show's aimed at the kids, really- it's aimed at families (or at least I tell myself that
). But, yeah, they're definitely catering to the kiddie-winkles with this one.__________________

The show is aimed at families, but all the merchandise, the books, etc is all very catered for kids, which most adults except obsessive fans wouldn't be that interested in, IMO.
