It's kind of cool the way these science fiction/fantasy shows will show famous people from the past having encounters with monstrous aliens when in reality they didn't. Edison was still alive when my grandma was born, and I'm sure she would've told us about those giant scorpion aliens if that had happened. I haven't studied much on the various inventions of those two. I know Edison invented the light bulb and the phonograph, but that's it, and the only thing I remember Tesla for in history is the Tesla coil, and I don't know what that does.
i need to rewatch it to hear it

wow your grandmother was alive than that is so cool . i love History

That is really awesome that your grandmother was alive then. I agree that she definitely would have mentioned aliens

I always wonder why they pick the times they do in history to have the Doctor visit.

I think they think of good moments and try to add in aliens in it

There's something about the Judoon that makes me think they've been on Doctor Who before.

Yep, and I'm sure they made an appearance in The Pandorica Opens too.

Why were actors in the last episode of Doctor Who mispronouncing the word patent?
They weren't, as far as I heard, they were pronouncing it how it is often pronounced in British English.

Oh that makes sense! That's probably why I didn't notice the mispronoucement since I'm used to their accents.

I didn't notice, I'm happy when I pronounce the word "that" correctly.

So how is this new Doctor who appeared with her own TARDIS gonna coincide with the Doctor Who universe? Jo Martin is the one who played her so she's the second female Doctor. Jodie Whitaker is cuter.

There wasn't any mispronouncing, so nothing to notice

You know something that really confused me.. was when we saw Vincent Van Gogh.. and they kept saying "Van Goff" I always thought his name was pronounced like "Van Go"?

I've heard it both ways. My middle school art teacher said "Van Goff", my upper school one said "Van Go." It was very confusing
