Is the special any good? They took BBC America off before they aired the episode, so I haven't seen it yet.

Erm... Yes and no imo. It was really good in parts, but Matt Lucas really annoyed me so I'm torn.

Not sure how I feel about him, he was ok for just 1 episode last year but I really dont want to see more of him.

If we were to bring back one comedic character, imo it would have to be Strax, who has arguably been the best thing Moffat has done in his tenure imo. One thing that I'd love to see from the next showrunner though is do what Big Finish has done which is pair Strax (and Vastra/Jenny but mainly Strax tbh!) with Jago and Litefoot and have an older Jago and Litefoot meet the Doctor again, with Strax thrown in. I think that has the makings of a good story, and far better story than Matt Lucas imo.

I think Nardole will be more along the lines of Danny but not in the same capacity as Bill.

God, I hope he isnt like Danny in any respect. Danny was even worse than Missy in s8 imho...

Yeah, I did not like Danny at all. I was actually glad he was written off the show early as I thought he'd be around longer.
