I would recommend the audios, but specifically to classic fans. The audios are aimed at the fans (rather than the series which needs to play to a wider audience), so they tend to experiment with the formula. They often try ideas that the tv writers were too affriad to try. But pe prepared, there is a LOT of Who Audio out there.

I like the classic series. I used to watch it growing up with my Dad. I will have to check on of them out.
