That's happened with me with some of the Doctors in the Classic Series, but not the New Who.

I had no problem with David, mainly cause Christopher wasn't the Doctor for THAT long. But it took me a good long while to warm up to Matt.

With Peter, it took me all of Series 8 to warm up to him! LOL!

A Christmas Carol was my favourite Christmas episode, but The Husbands of River Song has taken its place.
