I wouldn’t mind approaching [Danny Pink] in a different way. Or maybe just come back as Orson Pink, because then it changes the dynamic between him and the Doctor. “If it’s Orson Pink, I think the relationship would be totally different because instead of a soldier – which is the kind of person the Doctor can’t bear – you’ve got another scientist who could be quite interesting with their relationship. And then instead of it being a love interest with Clara and Danny, it would be a family affair with grandmother and grandson but at the same age.” Danny Pink may no longer be around, but Anderson believes the character won’t be forgotten in Series 9: “Steven is very clever with the arcs that he writes, and I suppose that the relationship with Danny and Clara was integral to how the relationship with Clara and the new Doctor was going to go. I imagine there will be something [in Series 9] for sure.”  Doctor Who Series 9, Episode Teasers!

I liked Danny but I wouldn't mind it if he stayed dead either. Guess they'd just have to explain away Orson some other way
 but I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem.__________________

 I'm also not bothered about Danny staying dead, but I'd like Orson to make an appearance or something to confirm if he actually still exists. __________________

Had it not been for Danny and that ludicrous Master twist, I'd remember S8 a lot more fondly than I do currently as those two elements helped spoil the season for me.

See with the danny storyline they hinted that he can or will come back cause we see the future grandchild but hid death that episode was just werid
