Not about flying the TARDIS, that was merely demonstrated when she instructed Eleven in using the stabilizers when following the Byzantium. With Ten she demonstrated that she knew him, knew how to contact him through psycic paper, that she had a TARDIS journal, had a past/future with him, had his sonic screwdriver and eventually let him know she actually knew his name.

All the other things were lessons Eleven learned.

He was the polar opposite of Ten,imho. He was more open to more companions, he even befriended Rory's dad and he nada young,eager and bright-eyed outlook. He didn't mind having a wife who seemed older as far as appearance,commitment didn't weird him out and he was willing to be vulnerable,too. He had a giant elfin' entourage and I'll miss them.

Ten/Rose is great,but she could have never been his wife. Even if she wasn't human,she was a teenager. River was able to grasp the mission, make everyone focus and she'd tell Eleven when he was wrong. Ten was really self-absorbed and dramatic,whereas Eleven was curious,stuck in his head and acted like a little kid when he discovered new things. River would have beaten him during DDRMax for Wii.

Does anyone mind beta'ing my story? It's not very long,but some of my facts are fuzzy.

I'll PM you. I can't remember certain facts,which is keeping me from posting it.

I think that's why Eleven is the most popular. DT is sexy as hell,but he wasn't really as realistic and brooded way too much for my liking. He resisted Rose even if he loved her,yet he wept for the Daleks and the Master when they caused him nothing but pain. He didn't appreciate Wilbur, Mickey and Jackie much,either. He had the wrong priorities,which is probably why meeting Eleven made him grumpy at first.

I like the various differences between them,because Eleven has his own flaws and he's not perfect. He's not as good at taking cues,he didn't grasp that his companions were changing and couldn't necessarily spend time with him and he kept calling Rory and Brian "Pond". 10 knew everyone's name,pushed them away and couldn't let himself love Rose because he'd keep living and she'd grow old and wind up like Sarah Jane.

One is youthful and immature, another is a broody bachelor and the other is, well...he's tired and doesn't have time for this shiz. He just finished killing his people and he needs a drink, dammit.

The 9th one in both. Eccleston was great,but so was John Hurt. They were broody from the terrible choice they had to make.
