Have any of you nice people listened to the new audios with River and past Doctors yet? I have not but think its grand River gets to have adventures with other Doctors than the modern ones.

I've wanted to listen to the ones with River and Eight, but every time I think to get them, I get distracted by something else !LOL! Eventually I will listen to them! haha!

Hi, everyone.
  First time poster on this thread, but a long time Doctor/River shipper. It feels so wrong we've only got the two parts episode with 10 and one episode with 12...  River should have been in the 50 anniversary episode. She would fit in perfectly... And, since we are talking about favorite River/Doctor moments, the moment I can't stop watching is the good bye scene between 11th and Data River. It was the first moment you could see, without any doubt whatsover, how deeply the Doctor felt about River. Before that moment, it seemed he was not as deeply in love with her as she was with him. *That*, for me, was the definying moment, and it felt even sadder, since she wasn't truly there. I still cry when I think that River never saw it. Her Data Ghost did, but she didn't... |

I do love when the Doctor says a real honest goodbye to her. What I love is him kissing her without her being the one to start it. He just cupped her face and pulled her in. It was beautiful, and as you said, it made us see just HOW DEEPLY he loved River. And Peter was able to bring that out to in THE HUSBANDS OF RIVER SONG. You could plainly see it on his face every time he looked at her. __________________

That's why I love 12 a little more with River than I did 11. Where 11 made sure to keep his emotions off his face, 12 didn't. He let that love for River show on his face!
