I don't think you would of Lindsay. I agree with Petra that Rose was very much a teenager and immature during her travels with the Doctor. I never got a romantic vibe. It was more like a young girl infatuated with her older teacher vibe.

I like Rose but I did feel like she was just in awe of the Doctor, as she should be of course, but love?

Plus I felt like it was all one-sided at first.

In the end she didn't and i rewatch it like last year her season and i realised she was such a great character that got ruined by love . She is out of the new who companions the most intelligent and independent one .

Exactly. She can just try and be friends with the Doctor and it would still be great.
