Karen Sheila Gillan was born on the 28th November in 1987 in Inverness, Scotland. Her father, Raymond John and her mother, Marie currently live in Kinmylies. Karen attended Charleston Academy until she was 16 when she decided to persue her acting futher, so she attended Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts drama school which is in London. Karen got her first role when she was still at school. She was cast as the next Doctor's companion in 2009 and opefully this will be the start of a long and fruitful career.

Thanks all for the warm and super kind words, I was asked by Petra to open this thread, and I dived right in, because Amy Pond is my favorite modern Who companion.
And I want other fans to have a brand new thread to talk about her in. So thanks.

After seeing a recent photo of the two together, I gotta ask-what would former companion Ace make of more recent companion Amy Pond?

I guess I'm going to like all the companions. LOL!

Amy is now my second favorite now. Rose, Amy, Martha, Donna. Sorry, but I had to.

I LOVE her accent and her personality!

BTW, the board guide needs to be updated....a few threads I've gone to have taken me to the one before the last one.
