Billie is on Penny Dreadful,but I don't have Showtime. I think IMDB would have what Karen will be in next. I'm shocked that SLC would have a Comic-Con,let alone a Doctor Who Panel.

Im fantastic! Especially with all these pics from the SLC Comic-Con. I am unsure what the current political environment in SLC is, but am glad they did the event and especially the Dr Who panel.

Well,it's the Mormon headquarters. I know SLC punk took place there,but the overwhelming vibe there is uber-conservative Mormon crap. If they don't even believe in drinking coke or coffee,why would they like a show that suggests that the Devil is an alien and Jesus probably is,too?

DW is light-hearted when it pokes fun of this and that,but Mormons are so fussy that if you say "Jesus!" around them,they'll lose their My brother's roommate said that the girl who replaced him ran like hell and moved overnight because they couldn't bear living in a place with alcohol in their kitchen.

Maybe they get compensated,who knows. If they like the show it's good news,but it's a very conservative place. I don't know if you know much about American politics, but some of them think that there's such a thing as "legitimate rape".

Well, being honest, I was one of them for a long time before they insulted my mother. Then we both left, along with my father. But I never knew their views on scifi-fantasy except they had some issue with people giving Star Trek videos for Christmases. They felt it took away from the reason for the season, as they called it. But you know what, I LOVE Dr Who, and I love all manner of scifi and fantasy series and films, and they aren't going to change my mind at this late date.
And I don't know much about politics except that it's very messy.

Oh? Did you like it? I lived in the SW for awhile and knew plenty of them who were nice,but I didn't like the way a of lot them treated people. I know that small town SW is different,but they were rude to me out of custom. I'm not a Christian and my family just did not want me to go to any church or Mormon event. Instead of getting it, they were rude and huffy. That and really anyone who wasn't Christian pissed them off.

I don't know much about politics and prefer it that way. As long as I know what my local officials stand for,I'm good.

So have you seen any of Billie's work in Penny Dreadful and do you recommend it? Im thinking of getting the DvD tomorrow but havent made up my mind yet.

No, but a good friend loves it. I'm cheap,so I'll wait until it streams on Netflix or find a place that does it now. My main priority is finishing S1 of DW,but I want to watch a show with John Barrowman. Aside from Arrow,that is. He's a boss on it. I imagine BP is on Penny Dreadful is,too.

Karen should guest star on PD-It could be like a mini DW group.

To be honest, I lost interest in all things Torchwood-save for Capt. Jack-after they in my opinion ruined the series by killing people off and then they did a story where Jack helped the bad guys in a flashback I didn't like.

Which one? I live in a world where S4 never happened.

Amy should guest star on Arrow,but Alex is a guest who pops up when need be. John plays the bad guy,so he's probably a regular.

They should have ended it with that. There was no need for S4 and it ruined the show. One that bugs me is the fact that they never explained the Torchwood crossover event. They were in S4 of DW,yet it never popped up on Torchwood S3. Gwen mentions The Doctor,but she acts as if she knew nothing about him. She may not have met him,but she and Ianto fought with the Doctor against the Daleks and the Cybermen.
