Overall I like this episode, I like the plot and a werewolf always helps me like something, and it's fun and I do like episodes where the Doctor is having fun and is happy.

Not my favourite, but I liked this ep well enough, much better than New Earth. I liked that the setting in Scotland, so much of S1 had taken place in London and on space stations, it was nice in S2 to get out to more locations. I was pretty indifferent to the werewolf part of the story, though it's certainly not the first or last time Doctor Who appropriated some well-known fantasy creature and gave it a sci-fi spin.
I also liked in this ep the part where Queen Victoria rewarded the Doctor and Rose, but at the same time chastized them for their cavelier attitude towards danger. I also thought, throughout S2, that the Doctor and Rose were just a little too enthusiastic about the dangerous situations they encountered, even while people were dying around them. It was all a set up to what happens to Rose at the end of the season I suppose, but it bothered me at times. __________________

Just have to say - the beginning to this episode is one of my very very favourites. The Doctor is so happy and the bit where him and Rose fall on the floor of the TARDIS and laugh just makes me grin. Plus, the meeting outside with Queen Victoria's guard is just one of the funniest scenes ever.

This episode really is brilliant, I love the fun nature of it. This is such a great shipper episode for Rose and the Doctor as well because while it isnt overt the fun and comfort they have in ewach others company and the way they have adopted each others characteristic can clearly be seen in this episode.. plus the not amused thing was brilliance!

This ep was the first one in season 2 also where the doctor was trying to take Rose somewhere fun that he enjoyed and it backfired. I loved that little subplotish thing in season 2. They were so happy then
