Been seeing commericals cause our Sci-Fi channel will be having all the DH christmas specials tomorrow and kinda of want to see this one

That was such a lovely christmas special. I am not going to go ahead and say it has been the best so far because I heart the others too much - but it definitely was one of the best with Eleven so far.
 It was so ridiculously Doctor Who-like, if you get what I mean. The fish thing was just so brilliant  - Fishy Wishy! I really liked the story line because it was very christmassy indeed  I am just going to write down some thoughts right now because I cannot possibly remember everything Loved when the Doctor said his psychic paper shortened out because it was such a big lie  And "what do boys say in the face of danger - mummy!" It was such a joy to watch with lots of heartbreak. That line: "Better a broken heart than no heart - you try it" - the look on the Doctor's face was so sad  But I must say, the one thing I do love most about Eleven is that he seems to be happier than Ten. Good for him  Oh, and one thing that annoyed me a bit was when the old Kazran touched the younger Kazran. Am I confused or should that not create a paradox? Just like in "Father's Day"?  But really, I loved this episode ETA: OMG AND THAT TRAILER AT THE END?!  Series 6 looks amazing! __________________

I think they implied that they were wearing the costumes because of some 'fun' during their honeymoon
 Rory said something about that at the beginning  I agree about the lack of Amy and Rory. But I think it suited the story to not have them running around as welll. __________________

I am definitely looking forward to that! The short bits where we did see Rory and Amy were awesome.
I know about nothing about Katherine Jenkins ... does anyone know if the songs she sang were her own? Or if they wrote them for this episode? __________________

Too Christmasy. Too much timey wimey. Way too much CGI. There goes the budget for Series 6.
Just something I'm not used to in Doctor Who. I mean, don't get me wrong, it was awesome. I guess my expectations have just always been low for DW Christmas specials that I didn't expect it to be so good. Maybe I'll feel different on the rewatch. __________________
