7 HOURS to go!!
I'm more excited over the episode than the day in general, though I did love my presents so I'm happy. __________________

I'll need to watch it again, but I really enjoyed it!
It as great seeing David Tennant and David Morrisey in DW together, because I loved them in Blackpool. Most of it has gone out of my head though, I blame christmas dinner and tiredness, so I'll watch it again later on or tomorrow, then I might have a more coherant opinion. __________________

yeh im like that hehe ive eaten way too much hehe
but yeh i really enjoyed the episode more than last years too be honest. Im really loving david Morrisey i thought he was great and of course DT loved him-as great as always. Im a fan of Dervla Kirwan from the Ballyskissangel days and i thought she played a great villain And i loved the subtle Rose hints with Rosita __________________

Oh I loved this I'm not all incoherent and buzzing with "WHAT.. WHAT?!" as I usually am after an episode of Who which is a bit of a strange sensation but yes, I thoroughly enjoyed this, perfect for Christmas!
David Morrissey was BRILLIANT. As was Dervla Kirwan, and the actress who played Rosita, her name escapes me right now but DM really blew me away, the double David combo was once again amazing I suspected that it would be something like this, that DM's Doctor wasn't actually the Doctor but a normal human turned Timelord, but I had never thought it would play out this way, my money was on the fob watch so when they addressed that right at the beginning and the Doctor opened it and the ominous music started to swell up and then it just fell open that cracked me up. But oh, as he slowly found out about his actual life, that really got to me. Perfectly played. I'm not usually a huge fan of the Cybermen and I was a mehh about seeing them again to be honest, but I still got chills when they came walking out of the mist into the graveyard. And I liked the Cybershades, even if they were a bit silly. And the giant robot? Yeah, completely laughable but in such a cracked out way that I totally loved it and uhm, when he was strutting through London, I suddenly got this image of a giant King Kong!style RTD in my head, going "MWAAAAHAHHAHAHAAAA" and stomping all over all kinds of buildings no idea where that came from... But it made me laugh. Also, AIR BALLOON. Which caused David's hair TO STICK UP EVEN MORE. Raise your hands if you didn't think it was possible for his hair to get even MORE out of control And oh the end... "I suppose in the end.... They break my heart." DOCTOR! ...though technically, heartS and what also broke MY heart... "You've got a reason to live." "And you haven't?" *long meaningful look* ohhhhhhhhh ouch. Oh and I wouldn't be me if I didn't mention this... "Rosita, good name! Hello, Rosita." Hah Sooooo yes, Planet of the Dead, huh? __________________

I thought that. But with it only being an expression I decided to let RTD pass. Just this once.
I don't really have much to say about the episode. It was pretty standard fare, to be honest. The only thing that really piqued my interest was the AWFUL special effects (I mean, really.) and that's not exactly a good thing. David Morrisey was good- but his character spent an awful lot of time crying (understandably, but still. The Doctor cries less and he killed his entire species and loses everyone he loves) and and less time being awesome, which was a shame, really. That line about breaking his hearts made me wibble. But, uh, it was better than last year? Which is all I've got to say about it, really. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't great (which seems to be the popular opinion, TBH). __________________

Val--I'm with you on the cyberahdes. I didn't quite get how they were created (unless it's something in anything other than the last four years) but they looked odd. Eh.
The line about his companions breaking is heart(s) made me sniffle. I suppose that Jackson didn't quite know about the two hearts part, which is why I excused it. __________________
