Shouldn't it be 11 Doctors now, or is there a separate thread for that?

Matt Smith's Doctor won me at 'Hello. I'm the Doctor. Basically, run!' Think he's a great doctor. Tennant was fantastic and was my all time favourite until Smith came along. Ecclestone at the time I thought he was good but now, tbh, think he was quite poor- it just didnt work and I don't like his attitude. McGann had possible potential, which he has shown in various audios, but in the movie didn't work really. McCoy was a very underrated Doctor- dark and mysterious but at the same time the same old fun Doctor- just with more mindgames and philosophical talk. Colin Baker got a lot of flack at the time, but on reflection he wasn't too bad. There's been worse! Davison was great- laid back- a 'safe' doctor choice imo. Tom Baker- is there anything else that needs to be said? Tom Baker was awesome! Jon Pertwee had the greatest era in the UNIT years. Pertwee, Jo Grant, Mike Yates, Sgt Benton, the legendary Brigadier and the best Master of them all Roger Delgado. Troughton was awesome again- kinda a cross between McCoy and Smith. Hartnell- fair play to him for getting it all started- but overall not impressed with the actual portrayal.
In summary

1. Tom Baker
2. Matt Smith
3. Patrick Troughton
4. Jon Pertwee
5. David Tennant
6. Peter Davison
7. Sylvester Mccoy
8. Paul McGann
9. Colin Baker
10. William Hartnell
11. Christopher Eccleston

But they change order regularly!

I do see a fair bit of similarity between the Eleventh Doctor and Two and Seven. I think Smith, either intentionally or unintentionally, has adopted some of the mannerisms of Troughton's 2nd Doctor. And I think personality-wise, 11 is most like 7 ... 11 has secrets and plans that he keeps from his companions like 7 did, and he's a bit manipulative (not in a bad way) like 7 was sometimes (for example, the way that 11 took Amy traveling with him but didn't really tell her why, reminded me a bit of 7 taking Ace to the house in Ghost Light knowing her connection to it but not telling her that was why they were there). It also feels to me like where the show is headed now is sort of where they were going with the 7th Doctor before the show was cancelled, like Moffat's version of the Cartmel Masterplan, trying to build up the mystery around the character with the question of "Doctor Who?".

I hear that at a convention this year, someone handed McCoy the 11th Doctor's speech from the end of The Pandorica Opens (the one where he buys some time by contacting his orbiting enemies), and McCoy read it to the crowd. I can absolutely picture the 7th Doctor making that same speech.

I think the funniest Doctors were Two, Four and Eleven. Seven also started out being funny but he had the dark side/manipulative side of him.

I think the most serious were Five, Eight, Nine & Ten.

Yup. Tom especially. He has the funniest scene in the whole 50 years of the show:
