He definitely knows. There's no one else I can think of since the 4 knocks tie very closely to The Master. I kinda wish we didn't know he was coming back. I'd be freaking out right now.

This episode was good the doctor looked so handsome in his suit and top hat

The episode was a good stepping stone between doctor and bill her questions are so smart she so blunt and it is brillant .. she cares she is so himan and his not that is why he needs her .

I love bill A) she mentions her race and that era genuis , she ask about time travel and its effects also great

One thing that these last 3 companions have in common is the episode where they have to fight the doctor to save soemthing like amy 2nd episode thee beast below this had a fosh creature i love that bill was against it at first than realized it needed her help

This ep reminded me a lot of "The Beast Below" too.

And yes, this is why the Doctor needs a companion. Apart from being lonely travelling space, sometimes the Doctor can make rash choices and companions help him be more 'human'.

yes I agree Lindsay! There have been many times when companions have led the Doctor to a better choice than what he would have made on his own. Being practically immortal changes your perspective so much and he needs to be grounded by a companion who sees the universe from a more finite perspective.
