Really enjoyed this episode. I don't wanna spoil anyone yet, so I'll just say that until everyone else has seen it.
I can't wait to rewatch it! |

I liked it. Not the best episode ever, but entertaining. Lots of classic series references.
It was sad watching it on Space though, they kept showing ads for next week's ep and calling it the "season finale". __________________

Yes it was good. And a bored Doctor is very amusing

This was good. Kinda too easily solved. But still a good episode for character development and stuff like that.

Seriously, the next ep is going to hurt like a mother.
I loved this ep!!! More than the last one. Mainly because it had a lot of Pond action. Even from Brian. I was hating Brian for a second there because he kept insinuating that the Doktah was ruining the Ponds’ “normal” lives - but I get where he’s coming from. At least he changed his stance in the end. Glad he understood it too. The Doktah is a drug - that much is clear. But honestly - who can resist him and the things he can do, the worlds/universes he can take you to? I don’t think there’s anybody out there who can resist, really. It’s good that they wrote the Ponds’ scene in the bed, actually. They have a normal life now and they’re getting used to it. It hurts, but it’s something that you grow into, I guess. Or it’s just really how humans are made. Creatures of comfort, we are. Why am I talking like Yoda, though? Anyway, I didn’t get the reference to the scientist’s father - I’m sure I have yet to get to it. I’m only on 2x12 or my season 2 marathon, so… But I did like her. The alien looked really familiar. I love it when the Doktah does these “I love humans, and you can **** off!” speeches Sometimes it can get cheesy, but I don’t care. It’s one of the things I absolutely love about him. And Matt does it so well! The Doktah and his hearts. I can’t. And OMG ripping off his shirt! I DIED. “I miss you.” Ugh! And Amy’s face though. LOL The moment between Amy and the Doktah ripped my heart out. I cried. Seriously. I don’t want to think about the end, but it’s inevitable. IT’S REALLY GOING TO ****ING HURT AND I CANNOT COPE! WHY DO I FEEL THIS??? WHY DO I HAVE TO CARE ABOUT ****ING FICTIONAL CHARACTERS??? WHY GODDAMMIT WHY??? When the Doktah said “It was you. Your face.” Ah ****. Even now when I’m writing this, I’m crying. Seriously guys. I need a hug. OK I’m gonna stop now. I need to cry. __________________

My favorite thing I gotta admit, was them bringing the Brigadier's daughter. I teared up at that

Really enjoyable episode, I thought the idea was a really strong concept. It lost me a bit in places, and I found some of the dialogue cringey, particalarly the 'power of three' line at the end. So cringey. But overall an enjoyable episode __________________

I thought it was an enjoyable episode. At the beginning it reminded me of earlier NuWho seasons. It almost had a RTD feel to it...almost.
I can't believe it's been 10 years for the Ponds...that's just crazy to me...but it also made sense. I don't wanna watch next week's episode! I feel like watching DW is almost masochistic for me because by the time i fall in love with a character and/or doctor they leave. __________________

That 'Back in the game' bit reminded me of his 'Who da man?!' bit in Eleventh Hour

That scene also reminded me of The Shakespeare Code, when something very similar happened to the Tenth Doctor.
