I found this thread over at the Natalie Portman board and thought it would be cool to bring over here to see what y'all would choose for Lauren.


Here's the deal:

What three movies or shows that Lauren has been in would you show to a friend (or anyone really, even an enemy) to convince them of Lauren's amazing being & acting? Or just three movies or shows you would show at a Lauren Graham Marathon, be it for convincing or just pleasure purposes.

You can include some reasons why you picked the film or show if you choose so

There is one rule to this: Please do not put Gilmore Girls down as one of your choices. This is probably pretty much already a given on what you would show anyways, so let's branch out to Lauren's other roles

--Shows do include guest starring roles such as Seinfeld, 3rd Rock from The Sun, Law & Order, etc.



To convice someone, I'd show these:

Seeing Other People - Even though the movie really wasn't that good, Lauren's character and performance had me laughing the entire way through. She really had the best performance of the movie.

Gnome - Lauren really surprised me at how well she could do in an "indie" film like Gnome. This is probably my favorite role of hers, besides Lorelai, and she really knew how to just be that character. It really showed how far she could go.

Seinfeld - Her Seinfeld episode is one of the classics, IMO. She was really funny with her speed dial obsessive character and just could really fit into it.

Badder Santa- shows Laurens range as an actress and shows she can get down and dirty without blemishing her image, you still have respect for her even after her Santa obsession. A cult classic

Seeing Other People- Lauren is excellent in it, although her part is not that large, she adds to the movie "Stoners Clarity", she is so funny and classy

Chasing Destiny- She makes you feel for her character and its a classic love story. Its a chick flick, so every chick needs to see it!

Bad santa- shows her ability to act sexy
Gnome-ability to act in a normal/weird situation
Seinfeld-Shows her funny and sweet side

Bad Santa yet again because it is hilarious and all my friends who dont know her name know her as Santas slutty girlfriend.
Seeing other People because she plays a stoner really well haha and I think she is hilarious and relatable.
Gnome because its such a cute little movie and she is super cute and real in that.

Gnome- i love her change of character and it shows how real and sweat she is.

Seinfeld- it's a classic show and she is hilarious in it even though she's not on the screen for long it just goes to show you how much of an impact she can make

Badder Santa- to show all my guy friends her sexy side lol and she's great in that movie to as all her others

Chasing destiny -casue lauren is sooooooo adorable in this movie and has a main part

Bad Santa - its a funny role

and then ... hmmmmmmmmm either Gnome or Caroline in the city
