OK - I just watched Lauren on Ellen. I'm sad that I couldn't record it to share with y'all so I took copious notes! NERD ALERT!!!

Spoiler:

OK - So she came out to No Doubt, I'm Just a Girl (doesn't she always?! ) looking very beautiful. Trademark long wavy hair and a brown silk wrap dress with cream polka-dots, really pretty

They mentioned Parenthood just saying that it was a funny show and showed a new clip with Sarah, Adam, Drew and Amber (funny clip )

The Jersey Shore cast were on the show too and she was saying that she was excited cause she thought she saw one of them backstage but it was just an Italian dancer

She then commented on Ellen hosting the VMA's and said that presenting was scary because you have to score in no time

She said that they were sad that their joke bombed cause she thought that they were both funny people and they were really excited about presenting together so they practised for days before hand and then when it came to be their turn, they were told that the show was running to schedule so no witty banter required She said that they were bummed so they made up a short joke on the spot backstage She then recreates the whole joke and the audience hardly reacts!

She says to Ellen that as a fellow comedian she knows that "jokes you have to explain are the best kind"

She was talking about being in the green room and how she was psyched cause there was such a mix of people. She said that she went up to Betty White to say that she was really enjoying her new success and that she was a big fan and she would be presenting her award tonight and Betty "Huh?"d her Someone said that she's hard of hearing so Lauren was shouting to her that she was presenting her and the guy from project runway was trying to cut her off

She said that her Emmys were a bust and she and Matty spent an hour after they presented discussing what they could have done differently and stressing

She said that however the Emmy;s weren't as bad as sitting in Gaga's meat chair and Ellen assured her that it had been washed! She was laughing about the dress and saying, "Wouldn't it be funny if you just decided that you're done with all this Vegan stuff and had a bite?" Mmmm, delicious!

They had a commercial break and then came back to play a game. Ellen had to guess which dance Lauren was doing She did the Twist, Tap dancing, Waltz, the Running Man, the Shopping Cart, the YMCA, the Can-Can (she was nervous about that in a dress ) the Single Ladies dance (hilarious) and the Chicken Dance where she quacked like a duck

They then switched up and Lauren guessed Ellens - when she did Irish dancing she cried out "Oh oh! Irirsh step dancing! Those are my people!"

They then mentioned IKOAFS release date and the Parenthood was premiering tonight. No mention of Kraham, it was a fun interview though!
