well, the part about gilmore girls was kind of boring but I liked the part about Guys and Dolls. Lauren said that she´s glad they are surving, doesn´t sound to me like they are talking about success.lol but Lauren is more happy about what she has achieved.

This Rachel Ray is not my favourite interview making person, that´s for sure. She´s boring.

I think it was Rachael who referred to GaD as a big Broadway hit, or something like that. I'll have to go back and check. But you're right, Lauren wasn't making it out to be more than it is.

But all in all, an ok interview, nothing new, though I find it very interesting how Lauren takes care of her voice (cords). Gargling with salt (:yuck: poor Lauren), taking medicine.

I was shocked at first, like, what?? She's taking steroids? But after Susi's googling, I'm relieved^^

I think it's appropriate to call G&D a success. Think about it - after the reviews on opening night there was a point when those going in late April were concerned it wouldn't last long enough for them to see it. The fact that it has respectfully survived being creamed by so many is significant. Honestly, I don't think that those working on the show stress half as much about the grosses as we do (although I'm sure the producers, accounting, and publicity departments do). The performers need to stay in the mindset of going out there every day and giving a great show - which they do.

Not only that, it is a huge success for her personally - hee, I can't help but to think of Lauren and Greg Kinnear's little talk in FOG about "what makes a person successful?" lol. All I know is that I enjoyed the show and many others have too for months now. Is that a success?

I can't watch the interview yet because I'm at work on lunch break, but am excited to soon!

hihi. no problem girls. Just the word steroids makes you worry cause normally steroids are bad( at least thats what I think). But in this case they don´t seem to be ...well and otherwise Lauren wouldn´t have talked about it so openly, I guess
