I also hope she'll do signings in more places than just NY and LA. Not for me, as I'll be far away, but for more fans to be able to reach her.

It would be nice. But if all else fails I'll travel 10 hours on a bus to New York need be haha

sydsgirl1 09-28-2016 02:12 AM

I'm not sure there's much hope of her coming to the UK, but it would be nice if she does!

Shani313 09-28-2016 10:22 AM

I hope she releases more info about her book signings soon. It'd be great if she has one in DC but if not, I'm willing to make the trip to NY. :)

I've been begging the major book chain in Canada to get her to come to Toronto. They responded saying Someday, Someday, Maybe. At least they're witty.

It would be nice if she traveled to lots of cities. I also hope she announces dates/locations soon. :)

I recall her replying to someones tweet about doing NY or LA but I really want her to expand and do more then just those.

Only two more months until Nov 29!

Thanks! The timing definitely worked out perfectly. I didn't realize the book was in the works long before the show was revived.

the_strawberry_girl 10-08-2016 10:55 AM

I didn't realize that either. I wonder if she was writing the SSM sequel and the other stories just started coming out instead, and this is what it turned in to.

just stand still 10-08-2016 09:27 PM

At the same time I also wonder how long the show was in "real" talks for. But I honestly wasn't aware that this was something she was already working on.

Interesting article. Thanks for that. :)

Thanks for the link!! :) The article is a bit more detailed than what I read before, and it makes me that much more excited for the book to be out. :D

Thanks for the link. I wasn't expecting that. It's really lovely to read.I love Ot when LG speaks about GG! It seems like it must be the best time of her Carreer. I'm so proud. And really excited to get my Copy in December!

valeposh 10-11-2016 08:53 AM

I like the idea of the two-parts structure, what it felt like and what it feels like. :D

Thanks for the article, I really enjoyed it. Can't wait to read it it sounds really interesting. I am sad, though, if this did start out to be the continuation of Franny's life and ended up being the essays. I really was looking forward to the other book. I really got excited about it when Lauren and Jennifer Smith were talking about the deadline a while back. I hope there is still a chance that it will be written at some point.

I get the feeling this book is not a replacement for Franny's next chapter. I do have confidence we will see it one day.

Me too, I think she has mentioned that she was writing two books at one point too. I think this came about because of the revival :)

CohenGal 10-13-2016 03:56 AM

Agreed, I think she'll return to Franny; this was just a detour. :)

kathiLGfan 10-14-2016 03:57 AM

I guess you guys are right. I think the GG thing came up by the official YES from Amy. Maybe LG had something like this always planned. And Franny should be in LA in the next book. I thought there has been a Interview about it. Well I guess We'll hear more about it later this Year.

I agree, I think these are two separate projects. :)
