I agree with Craig. I'm sure Lauren makes a very nice living and she only has herself to support. I don't think these prices are high for her at all. Now the average person who has kids, orthodontist bills, car payments, etc.... that's a different story.

I'm sure in the grand scheme of things those prices aren't high for her at all... but thinking that she was wearing $15,000 worth of jewelry on Letterman boggles my mind. I can't imagine that even if I had the money, that that would be ok. Lol.

I'm pretty sure all those things (clothes and jewelry) are lented to her for her "big" public appearances since she's always wearing things from the last collections. Designer's brand have Press departement in charge of things like that. My boyfriend's mother works in a french/american designer store and she told me once how it works. So, for what I know (it might be the same in the US) : when people have public appearances like a Tv show, a movie premiere, they call the press departement, then they go to the store to choose the clothes and they return them back after their events or if they liked them very much, they can buy them with a discount. But it's only working for celebrities. I know because I asked her once if I could borrow a dress I fell in love with for a public event but it seemed that my sister's wedding wasn't really a public event, even if there was a photographer lol (so I had to bought the dress).
I don't know if it's working like that for DvF, but I guess the system can't be really different.

And I found some new stuffs (I'm totally insane I know but i'm mostly bored today because I'm stuck in my couch with a blocked back)

That could definitely be it as well. I remember some interview where she was talking about borrowing diamonds from a designer and returning them too late So I guess she does the same with clothing.
