I'm listening to the audio book too, as I re-read.
I tend to listen to a bit every night before I go to bed, so it's like having Lauren read me a bed time story! __________________

Vale, I am glad that you finally got it, enjoy reading.
I am listening to the audio book while following along in the book as well. I also am really enjoying hearing it the way that she meant it to sound. In many spots her way is a lot different than mine and I love the tones she gives to some of the other characters. I am listening to it a lot slower than I read it so that I can make it last longer. I am sure, though, that I will read and listen to it again, though. |

Thanks for that addition, Bev.
I was listening to Lauren reading last night and ended up listening for about 3 1/2 hours. Unfortunately, it came to an end.  I was hoping to let it stretch out longer but I was really enjoying listening to her reading it and couldn't stop. Now I guess I will read it again myself and see if I read it more like she did or not. Maybe this time around I will read the second book so that it won't have been bought for nothing  Not that I would ever think that it would have been for nothing. I just couldn't wait for it to come since it was taking so long. I am proud to be the owner of two copies and the audio book as well Can't wait for book 2 now |

I read the book while in NYC and loved every second.
 I love how we can really almost her Lauren speak in most lines. It was catchy, funny (I found myself laughing on my own more than once), sweet, entangling. Can't believe it's her first novel. Doesn't look like a first novel to me!! __________________

Looks like Mae is counting with the role of Franny.lol
Maybe next time I read it I could imaging Mae instead of young Lauren as Franny. It will be hard, though. I hope Lauren will guest star as Deana from time to time  __________________
