I love SOP. First, because, as many of you said, Lauren rocks sarcastic roles. I love the fact that she 'wrote' some dialogue for Claire herself and actually got to use it.

And no, I wouldn't see other people. Never ends up good...

Didn't Lauren say something last year about how she had started writing over the past year? Does anyone remember something like that? Wonder if anything will come of it.

Me neither Deana but I find it really hard to get Lauren's movies here - only the blockbuster ones tend to make it & I don't mix well with technology lol!

I think i've seen most of her scenes from it on youtube etc though & she is in a character that I like to see her play - a bit bitchy and slutty but still with a heart is the impression I get. Reminds me of someone *whistles and looks around* lol!

I'd still like to see the whole movie though so if any of you europeans can advise me of where best to buy them that would be great! I can only ever find US region discs & my DVD player code wouldn't change

I really want this & BoA - only seen half of that too which SUCKS!!!!

I think by 'wrote', she just means improv. There were a couple lines that made it into the movie according to the DVD commentary. A la the "he has a d*ck and uses it" line.

That is from the Winnipeg Sun from back in October. Obviously the tv show was TBS/LIG, but still not sure on the writing part.

I think that's totally different. Writing and ad-libbing, to me, aren't nearly the same. In movies like this, you get to improv a bit, play off the other actors. That's not even close to "writing your own lines".

No idea what's happening with Lauren's actual writing, though.

Yes, I agree that writing and ad-libbing are totally different. That's my point, I guess. She herself said that she was writing. What I wouldn't give to read some of her writing...

I just read the whole thread, what a fun. I miss the detailed discussion on this board. People used to had more things to say.
