Val - thanks for the thread. exciting. Though I think the poster is fan made and not the official one.

I read there are sides for the movie, I hope we´ll get a hold of them. Though I definetely want to be spoiler free for this movie but i would just like to know what type of character Lauren plays.

We know that she will play Kate, aunt of Sydney, the hero of first 2 movies, and mother of Jill, Sydney´s cousin. Jill is supposed to be the new heroine of this movie.


Lets say I wasn´t excited yesterday when I read about Lauren being in Scre4m but that changed a bit after I read that Imdb has it listed as one of the 10 most anticipated movies of next year. And the thing that it´s ten years after the last movie and the cast of the original movie is in this too, Courteney Cox, Neve Campbell and David Arquette, that all makes me hopefull that it will be a good tribute to the serie and not just poor 4th movie.

Lets remind how it all started, shell we?lol It looks so old now, and it sure makes me feel old.lol



I remember seeing it in cinema with my two best friends at the time. I was 13 and I don´t know how they could possibly let us go in.lol There was 8 people in the cinema and we sat alone in the last row, holding our hands furiously, scared out of our minds.lol I remember my dad had to pick us up in the cinema and walk us home.haha. And months after that, everytime my friend called me she always started the call with "Hello Sydney".lol So it was our cult movie. Then we all went to see together the next movie when it came out. Some of the murders were great but I wasn´t the biggest fan of the end. The third movie felt like parody of a parody, not so good. Lets see if the 4th movie, ten years later, will go back to the roots.

I wonder what the new horror movie rules will be.

I've changed the poster, thanks Valentine. I had seen this one but for some reason couldn't grab it from the website. That one I had posted was from a screams4themovie.com website so I supposed it was real.
I read this too and it made me happy for her. Plus she looked really excited so... okay. Guess I'll have to watch the 3rd since it's the one I'm missing!

I just bought the first Scream on DVD again today, I lost my old copy. I´m plannin to have a marathon with my friend. hihi.

I watched the 3 movies but still not a huge fan of the series, I would say though the first is the best...

Maybe Lauren is the killer, her making a joke about in on Leno might be designed to throw us off the path. I can actually see Lauren play a sadistic mad killer, smiling as she pulls out her knife... guess we'll find out next April.

So I guess any spoilers here will be tagged and hidden for the time being... if we find out anything.

BTW shouldn't the title read SCRE4M

I have to admit that I have never seen any of the Scream movies. Guess I'll check On Demand and get up to speed before next April.

I'm all for any project that lets me watch Lauren on a big movie screen and creates the possibility of TV appearances.

She was cracking me up during her i'view w/ Leno! The fact that she couldn't keep a straight face during her "killer" impression put me in stitches!

I'm not really a huge fan of these movies...actually I've only seen the first one. However, I might just have to check this one out now.

Scream 3 happened to be on tonight, so I watched a little of it. Someone was stabbed in the first 15 minutes. I hate blood and gore. I watched the episode of The Tudors the other night where Catherine Howard and her alleged lovers were executed; one of them was drawn and quartered. It didn't show everything, but there was enough to make me sqeamish. Blech.
