Lauren Graham - Present Project Thread #14 - the cookbook is yum

Hey everybody!
This is a thread to discuss about a present we'd like to give Lauren from all of us, to express our admiration and love and especially to show her that no award can change her amazing acting skills!

The Cookbook project 2013

- 26 fans from all over the world sent their favorite national recipe and it was all put together and printed as a real book.

Foreword

We are fans who have followed your career from television to movies to Broadway and back to TV again, and over the years you have inspired us all in many different ways. We have always known you to be a Renaissance woman with many talents, but you continue to surprise us, most recently by writing a novel! We felt it was time to say thank you and, because you have shared so much of yourself with us, we wanted to give part of us back to you in return.

As we considered what we could give to you that would be original and meaningful, we thought about what you might enjoy. Because you have written a book, we decided to follow your example and make you one of our own. We know that you love cookbooks, and we decided that a cookbook of our personal favorite meals was an obvious choice that would be a great, practical contribution to your kitchen.

We come from all over the world, so this cookbook contains dishes that originate from many different countries and represent a wide variety of tastes and cultures. The cookbook is an eclectic mix of food that is meaningful to us, and we hope it will be useful to you. Thank you for making us laugh, smile, and cry on a regular basis. Congratulations on your most recent accomplishment, and we can't wait to see what you try your hand at next!

June 14th 2009: these are the flowers we sent Lauren to celebrate the last night of Guys and Dolls (thanks so much to Claire):

And this is what we wrote in the card:

Bringing over from last thread

We were trying to put the foreword together over the last weeks and we asked Claire to put the first draft together because we loved her previous notes to Lauren and she did a great work again. I´m not gonna lie, I think it´s perfect. But it´s still work in progress, maybe you have some suggestions of what should be changed or added, I would like to hear it all.
