A multi-cam comedy about a woman having 3 kids, each of them with different man, didn´t really appeal to me (call me prude.lol) so I wasn´t planning on watching it. Hopefully Monica will find some different job soon.

I wouldn't have watched it but there's nothing to be happy about, that's just rude! Bringing other people down won't make anyone else more successful and I'm sure Lauren will be disappointed for her friend.

Actually sounds interesting to me, I would have checked it out.

It does show how hard it is to get a show on TV, which is no surprise since Lauren couldn't get that other sitcom she was working on a few years ago on a network or cable.

I am sorry for Monica but have been sad that her show was going to be picked up when Lauren's last two weren't. It made my heart ache. I know, I'm terrible. Just a bigger fan of Lauren's than Monica's. At least there is a chance for Monica's to be picked up for a different season. I DO want everyone from Parenthood to move on to other projects ASAP as they all deserve it, they are all amazing actors and I don't wish anything bad for any of them. Am anxious to see what they all will be doing next. That being said, I only started watching Parenthood because of Lauren because I have been a fan of hers since before Gilmore Girls and am most anxious to see her in something new. I don't know if I would have watched this new show of Monica's after reading what it was about. It didn't sound interesting to me plus there is someone in it that I don't like so wouldn't have watched it because of them anyway. And yes, I am that way and yes I know that wishing for someone not to succeed won't make someone else to do so. I'm not that cruel anyway. I know this sounds like I am mad and saying this in a mean way but I'm really not so don't get mad at me thinking that I was. OK? Oh, and yes, I agree, I am sure that Lauren is sad for Monica, too.

Craig, it is astounding how many pilots or ideas for pilots never make it each season, even with the best people attached to them in any way.

I am no fan of Monica, but I need this line of conversation to cease as soon as possible. This is truly awful to think. And I don't know if any of you have the smallest idea on how network tv works, but Lauren's and Monica's projects were never in competition. Lauren will get back to TV when a really great project is lined up for her. I'd rather have her wait a year and come back to something awesome than come back tomorrow with a crappy show. Stop comparing Monica to Lauren. This isn't the place. I'm putting my moderator foot down here, thing I very rarely do.

When it finished I started season 1 again but I haven't got very far as I've been so busy. But it reminded me how much I loved the earlier seasons. I'll get through them all again slowly.

You speak my language!! I mean Monica was great on Parenthood. But I don't care for her. And you know it takes time to find the perfect Project. Lauren is a special diamond. Some shows don't deserve that. It's maybe the best for her. Who knows...I'm sure that show wasn't a great follow for Parenthood. It wasn't the right. It would be awsome to see her in comedy but after Parenthood??? I don't think someone of NBC could imagine

Was just checking my DVR to see what I had set to record and found that Parenthood is still set on it and that season 1 of Parenthood will air a few eps each day from April 3 - April 6 on Nick Jr. Hopefully the rest will follow.

Val, I agree with you about this conversation. Just want to say that I DO like Monica and I DO watch everything that she does & I do wish the best for her. OK, I am done.

It was on from '89 - '97. I am one of the oldies around here and watched it every week. I really liked it and hope that this actually happens. Can't wait to see it. And I am happy for Craig T.
