Definitely heard about CH being shifted and it looks like it's going to be moved to get its ratings pushed up.

Back to Parenthood, at the moment anything above a million viewers would be a start for the show. One thing Seven did do was put two compatible shows together in terms of focus groups - this is something they've learnt from US.

Can anyone confirm the rumours that Parenthood was pulled in UK because of poor ratings? Seen it written in a few places but haven't looked into it further.

Thanks Nadine, I've been saying since PH started the PTTR would be a prefect match when it comes to the focus groups, just hope it works as even that is no guarantee. But it did work for Bones and Castle on Sundays.

Okay off to watch the pilot in 44 minutes

It's never been shown. Not to my knowledge anyway, and I would have probably noticed if it had.

I was kinda hoping we'd get special Nissan ads (with Lauren and Peter of course) for the pilot but nothing so far and it doesn't look like they cut anything, but they have the usual amount of ads... Sarah just got sprung by Drew!

Awesome thanks for that, glad to hear it was just a rumour - haven't had a chance to keep an eye on other countries due to being out of the loop with real life stuff.

So the list of countries we have so far (maybe this needs to be in the first post?)

Is the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Brazil, Norway and now Australia?
That only leaves about 190 other countries to go

FYI they had a longer promo at the end of the pilot but from memory it featured scenes from more than just ep2. I recorded it and can upload it tomorrow if anyone is interested.

Yeah, it's definitely not been shown in the UK yet - I spoke to digital spy recently to see if there had been any buyer interest and so far no - no UK channel has bought it yet (pissed off

) but they have randomly bought The Event which will start to air in the UK in October (WTF?) they also bought Accidentally on Purpose and aired it after it had already been cancelled here. Puzzles me SO much.

I should bloody well work for them!

I am also impatiently waiting!! If it ever gets shown in the UK I hope it's not on some random sky channel, More 4 would be ideal I think.

It's supposed to start here in Italy in the fall too.
