Mercy hasn't rated well here either. After a few eps it was moved which is never a good sign.

I hope Parenthood gets a chance to developed. Do we know how many eps have been ordered yet?

Mercy has been on here Wed. at 8pm right from the beginning. It has not moved.

Hi everyone, I'm new here.
I wanted to post and say how excited I am about Parenthood. Couldn't think of anyone better to play the part of Sara.

I agree with the comments about NBC. I'm concerned the show won't get a chance to develop either. They don't seem to be making the best decisions at the moment. Here's a hoping they promote it well and it performs reasonably. That should be enough for NBC to keep it going.

It was on right after FlashForward here at 9:30 and moved back an hour, now replaced by Criminal Minds.

I wish we we would know about the episodes as well.. I think they already know. I'm just hoping it'll come out soon.

Since it's a mid season show they probably ordered 11 to 13 episodes.

Well 13 makes sense, as it is midseason. Though, the thing that worries me is when the show will be starting. Who starts watching new shows in March?? Nobody. Lol (though, that's not really funny)

Hee, I'm hopping on here at lunch to see all this sunshine-y optimism. lol

I disagree girls. If it is good, the people will come - and if they don't, high critical praise could help it as well.

I agree that the Leno thing is goofy in all sorts of ways, but quite frankly EVERY single one of the networks has made really crazy programming choices before (as far as what they put on and what they don't put on). March is long away - a lot could happen with the Leno situation before then. And, since NBC is honestly NOT paying out for a lot of hour-long shows these days maybe it actually gives Parenthood a better chance since there are so few on their network (as opposed to ABC which has a lot - they can pick and choose what to ax and they DO).

As far as the mid-season replacement situation, didn't we once make a list of all the great shows that started as mid-season replacements? I'm too tired to think of them all again but I don't think it's such a huge issue. With the Olympics as a potential media blitz, coming on right after them might be a good thing.

As I think Claire said, it has a lot of quality people so we just have to hope that helps and see what happens.

Lol, Michelle. You're too optimistic.

Though, I'm not saying the show will do bad. Just saying I have my worries - that have nothing to do with the show and everything to do with NBC.

Hee, really?? The poor show hasn't even been made yet, much less aired. I can understand people's concerns, but maybe we shouldn't flush it down the toilet quite yet.

And I do get the NBC thing, but I REALLY think it has a better chance there than ABC. ABC has cancelled A LOT of shows in the past few years that have done fairly well.
