• Avatars made from pictures of clips, episode stills from official websites, and filming pictures of scenes from an upcoming episode or movie should not be used until after the episode airs or until the movie is released, because avatars can be seen all over Fan Forum, and we want to respect the wishes of members that don’t want to see any spoilers for an upcoming episode.

Episode descriptions
• Small snippets/blurbs from TV Guide/Entertainment Weekly etc. are fine.
• Longer episode descriptions (like for example the ones FOX provides), are considered to be spoilerish and should just be discussed on the episode discussion thread until the episode airs or they should be posted with spoiler tags in various threads on the television boards here.

Yeah, we jumped the gun a little bit, but if he did get it wrong, at least we have a place for all the squee/threats

I'm still torn. I'm happy to have her back on tv every week, but I'm still not sure that the part is the right one. I think it's too close to Lorelai.

But if she feels good about it I'm happy for her!

But at least it looks like a great show. I'm very happy about that. Here's to hoping that it finds it legs and Lauren gets noticed

Also, Ron Howard is an EP, right? That could be great. Assuming he likes her, haha.

I just watched the trailer and I am even more excited now. I didn´t know anything about this series before, but it looks like one I might enjoy.
So here's hope to Ausiello being right about this.

We shouldn't jump the gun (with the Emmys).

I love the news. I followed the show way before Lauren was in the talks because of Maura and I loved the trailer. Although I love Helen Hunt I couldn't imagine her in the role, she played a mom in As Good As It Gets but both Maura and Lauren are able to pass love, passion, etc. through the screen - I don't know how to explain it - so much more than Helen. Lauren is perfect for the role. February 2010 can't come soon enough. As for the role, sure it's close to Lorelai. But it's not the same. I think it will be more drama than GG. And I like that. I like drama Lauren way more than comedy Lauren.

Lol, this reminds me of last October when Lauren was hiding and then we suddenly got the Broadway news. But this is better IMO. For us fans.
I hope for some talkshow appearances soon.

Yes I hope MA is 100% right, I think it's a good move for Lauren, she wanted something like this and lets face it apart from playing a mom how many other rolls are there for women of her age?

Can't wait to here/see more in the coming months!
