I'm soooo sad cuz I won't be able to watch this until it shows up online! I have to work a 10 hour shift tonight & will miss the entire episode & my silly recorder isn't working at home! Can't wait to see it & discuss it w/ everyone on Wednesday though! (it'll also take all the strength I can muster to not visit this thread until then lol)

I've read a few pre-review things of this episode already today and it sounds like a doozy! I'm really excited for Michael Emerson now! The only thing that's bugging (Bahaha *slaps thigh*) me a little, is that the reviews make little/no mention of Lauren It seems to be a very Max/Crosby/Drew/Seth focused episode - oh well though! Let's see how it all plays out!

Crosby is a naughty, naughty boy. I will say, he's got way more chemistry with Gaby than with Jasmine.

Seth showed his true colors tonight. What a jerk! And Drew was little Jerk Jr. Seriously, I don't get why Sarah said what happened with Drew and the fight was a good thing. Someone please explain that to me.

Kristina catching Julia and Joel in the bathroom and offering up her bedroom, to which Joel replies "that's very generous of you". LOL.

The bug guy.... eh. That storyline didn't do much for me. I liked the rest though.

The preview for next week is interesting. I can already tell Drew is going to annoy me. Why does he always take his Dad's side over his Mom's? Well, I guess I know why. Mom's always there and is easy to dump on. Dad is something new and can do no wrong to Drew.

ETA: On further thought I suppose Sarah thought Drew's fight was a good thing because he's finally starting to let things out instead of keeping them bottled up inside? I don't know though. That's really not the best way of going about it. The kid needs an attitude adjustment, imo.

Oh, and I love Amber!! Just had to say that.

Drew's being an @$$, really. He can worship his dad without treating his mom like that. Besides, he might not remember what happened when he was a kid, but he surely can remember that his dad blew him off when he ran to him.

Anyway, I love dirty Julia/Joel. They were cute.
So funny how Sarah and Kristina were making fun of the phone text.

Oh And I agree with Debbie on the chemistry thing between Crosby and Gaby.

Keep in mind I'm yet to watch it but it was Joel/Julia in the shower, early sides had the bug guy in the shower as part of his condition (or I thought so, might need to check the sides), guess they changed that.

Joel and Julia were in the bathroom, but not in the shower. Bug guy, another story. Very odd.

I really liked this episode.

Sarah was hysterical with her attempts to spoof-sext Joel on Julia's behalf. Though I was mildly uncomfortable through all the Seth scenes. I guess I knew he was a substance abusing loser, but I didn't expect an aggressive, violent side (especially while he was sober.)

Michael Emerson was wonderful as always. I loved Kristina hugging the stuffed cricket, treating it as a cross between a baby and a security blanket.

Sepinwall has a review up on his blog. He liked it (though he has some issues with the Crosby storyline...which I share.)

I liked the show... I didn't like the predictable affair of Crosby, even though I
don't like Jasmine. I loved Joel and Julia in this one...cracked me up. Sarah
with the text was very funny. Seth definetly showed his true colors. I just hope
they don't go predictable and have Sarah go back with Seth for any length of
time not even for a roll in the hay. Max always kind of hits a little close to home
when I watch him. My son shows so many signs of Asperger's but isn't diagnosed at this point.
Drew is just acting out... I think he will come to his senses.

Crosby, for a moment there I thought things would be okay and they would come to their sensors but the last scene, not sure where they can go from here with Jasmine and the wedding. I actually put more of the blame of Gaby, she knows Crosby is in a venerable state and show wouldn't want to mess things up with Max and the work she is doing but really who could resist Mina Kelly's smile and it does take two to tango.

Which takes up onto Joel and Julia, we got to see a lot more of them this week, Kristina catching them in the bathroom then telling Adam, loved that. Poor Joel at the start with Julia bending over, "Making love to doe." well at least it wasn't an apple pie. He probably had a few cold shows in those two days.

Andy the Bug Guy. Michael Emerson was perfect, great to see him back on TV again. It was good that Adam and Kristina decided to hire him although I think there hands were tied with how much Max liked the guy. Funny opening with Max catching him in the shower, any other show it would just be creepy. Felt a little back for Kristina though with all the kinds and other parents not seeming to help much. Liked how Zeek helped Andy out and is also understanding what it much be like for Adam and Kristina dealing with Max every day.

And the Seth story continues. I can see why Drew is on his fathers side after seeing Zeek pushing him down, the batting cages were a bit much from Seth but not that bad, more scaring the kids then anything else. The school fight would probably not have happened without those recent events. Sarah is kinda stuck, she wants Drew to have a relationship with Seth but also wants to protect him.

Another solid episode from this under rated show, I just hope things get better for Crosby and Jasmine, I miss Jabbar, we haven't seen him since the school play. Shame Jabber missed the party. It was good that they talked calmly, but I hope they don't used the old Friends excuse of "we were on a break"

Other things I liked, Kristina holding the cricket. Sarah reading the text from Joel to Julia. Sarah teasing Crosby with the spider trick. Good to at least see Sydney again even if she didn't have any lines, at one point she was sitting on Sarah's lap. Kristina telling Adam about Joel and Julia 'banging' in their bathroom Seth and Sarah talking, I think there is still something there, he can make her smile and Amber coming out to be with her mother after Seth left.

Oh and did anyone else see the tongue roll from Sarah while Adam was introducing Andy?

I didn't think what happened with Drew was a good thing either,how can getting into a fight be good. Seth is a bad influence on Drew IMO,I think Amber is right in being cautious of her dad's motives.

I liked the bug guy because it made Max really happy

Crosby- What a jerk I just knew he was going to sleep with Gaby,I do think they have chemistry though.

I loved this episode so much! (tears galore but lots of giggles!)

Amazing Andy was pretty darn amazing! Emerson did a great job with that role - the strategically planned jokes and tricks (like the coffee gag) were planned to perfection; great to see

I liked that they started to see a little glimpse into Max's future there - Zeek was adorable as the realisation came over him that there was potential to have your own business and independent life etc as an aspie adult

Sorry if it's tmi, but Julia and Joel seriously made me miss having a boyfriend! Those "can't keep your hands off each other" moments were so hot, they're a lovely couple The sexting was so polite!!!! I wish Sarah had just texted back some utter filth Her and Cosby are clearly the dirty ones!

Kristina walking in on them was hilarious!!!! I would NEVER have stopped laughing!! Julia's face!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kudos to Joel for keeping going though He's a keeper!

Notes from the party -

I loved Sydney sitting on Aunt Sarah's knee playing with her while her parents were upstairs banging!
I liked Sarah tickling Crosby's neck when the big spider was there Also, at that point, Drew was standing behind them with a big black eye, looking like a pure mad nail! Hilarious!

Drew looked ridiculous in Seth's vest I would have beaten him up for that! Haha, just kidding, but seriously, he needs to get Seth off that pedestal; I hope that happens soon.

I just find Gaby utterly enchanting (yup, enchanting. Total lady crush! ) As much as I know it's wrong, just as she does, I probably would have slept with Crosby too - the chemistry was electric in a way that it never has been with Jasmine

The last little bit with Lauren and Mae pushed me over the edge - just adorable!

Once again, an overly long review from me! Can't help it! Eeeeeek! Excited!

ETA - I just went for a shower and I'm still grinning about the ep I really loved it!

Solid episode, i think it got better as it progressed

Joel and Julia were so cute, i could not stop laughing when Kristina walked in on them in the bathroom lol

The Andy guy, think, was nice for Adam, its good he could communicate with him at the end. Also liked how Zeek could see how well he is doing for himself

Team Gabby! haha Totally so much chemistry with Crosby, i would say goodbye to Jasmine in a heartbeat

When Sarah says to Zeek its good for Drew to see Seth, it seems like she is trying to convince herself of that. I really liked the scene with Sarah and Seth talking at the end.

Drew needs to stop trying to be like Seth, i dont like him like that. Also he needs to wear his own clothes because that vest looked silly!

Sarah and Amber being cute made the whole episode for me!
