I hope so! I'm sure they'll make her at least a little more comedic. It would be foolish of them to waste Lauren's talent in that area. I'm excited for this show! Wish it were coming sooner.

OT- just read that NBC cancelled Trauma- possible opening for Parenthood- wish they'd put it out earlier.

) if the statement was said by Lauren it was probably done in jest, just like the bit on Ellen last week.

Good I'm glad they're tweaking it a bit to fit LG's personality. I always said Maura and Lauren were two completely different personalities and after seeing Maura as Sarah it was hard to get her out of my head.

Katka, I so agree with you here in every way. I think it needs to be said here that anyone who has actually worked with Lauren has had nothing but nice compliments to say about her and I do not believe that story for a single second. Nick Adams was definitely a background player in G&D and in an interview he said Lauren was "sweet as pie". Doesn't sound like someone who disrespects people she works with to me. (BTW Claire - do you remember when I was trying to explain to you what I found redeeming about Nick Adams when I was in NYC?

It was his calling Lauren sweet - I couldn't remember at the time lol)

The problem with the cockroach story is that someone posted it on her imdb page and people who are not intelligent enough to separate fact vs. fiction accept all silly things as true.
