I love it there. I'm waiting to see from a friend if the dates work.

I've never been, only been to Disney World, but hopefully I will someday!

Is anyone watching The Handmaid's Tale? I was nervous at first because it's based on my all-time favorite book (it's been my favorite book since I was 15), but I'm loving the series so far, and Alexis Bledel is very good in it.

It looks great and I remember enjoying the book, but I don't have Hulu. I watch so much TV already, I'm not sure I have time for any more!

We don't get Hulu in Italy, so we gave up the subscription, but I've heard good things about it. Hopefully I can find it around.

oh I remember the tower of terror, that was fun

Nothing new with me, lot's of work and the rainy weather is going on my nerves.

I am planning a crafty weekend, I will "build" myself some furniture for my balcony and then I will go to a BBQ.

Anyone watching American Gods? I watched the first episode and was like , great show so far

No, but I want to! Hopefully I can catch up this weekend; glad to hear you like it.

Your crafty weekend sounds fun!

I'm heading upstate this weekend and seeing my friend's kid in a play.

American Gods was pretty good. I'm looking forward to the next episode. I swear I remember in the first moments Shadow said he smelled snow, which made me laugh.

I was home sick 2 days this week (a bad head cold), and Tuesday I binged all of The People v. OJ Simpson. Wednesday I binged a British show Catastrophe. It was the last thing Carrie Fisher filmed before she died.

Today I saw Guardians Vol. 2 which was a lot of fun. Baby Groot will melt your heart.

Sorry you were sick, Christine.

I'll watch American Gods today.

I'm glad Guardians Vol. 2 was fun! I'm seeing it next weekend. I already know I'll love Baby Groot.

How did it go?lol

I was in my favorite mountains with my friends for a long weekend. The weather forecast was horrible, like rain for whole three days but we had 2 beautiful sunny days. Go figure. It was great to be in nature again. We did some hikes and it really charges me up. Now I wish I could go back.

It's not done yet but the building process is. It only needs some pillows and stuff which I will buy this week and then I will post a picture.

I went to Munich documentary film festival yesterday to watch a docu called "You'll never walk alone". It's about the history of the soccer anthem of FC Liverpool but originally the song is from the musical "Caroussel" which I didn't know. It was funny to hear that American people know it from the musical and Europeans from soccer.

And yay for hiking, I bought new hiking boots around Easter, now I'm waiting for the weather to be nicer and I can finally explore the Alps.

That is funny, and true I suppose, because I know it from Carousel.

Your getaway sounds great, Katka. Ele, hiking in the Alps must be wonderful. I'd like to take some weekend hiking trips, but I don't have mountains nearby that can compare to what you ladies have!

I might be biased but I think the soccer anthem is the better version.

Claire, you're welcome any time in case you want to hike in the Alps.
